Experience Yala National Park with extra time to explore on our Extended Morning Safari, perfect for guests who want a deeper and more rewarding wildlife adventure. Your journey begins at 5:30 AM, when wildlife is most active and the soft morning light offers ideal conditions for photography.
Once the park opens at 6:00 AM, you will enjoy extended safari time inside Yala National Park from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM. With more hours on the trail, your tracker can visit quieter, deeper areas of the park, increasing your chances of spotting leopards, elephants, sloth bears, crocodiles, and a wide variety of birds.
You will be picked up from your hotel in Yala or Tissamaharama and dropped back around 12:30 PM. For guests joining from other locations, please contact us for meet-up, pickup anywhere in Sri Lanka, or a safari takeaway breakfast.
Safari Itinerary
- 5:30 AM – Pick up from your hotel or meet-up point
- 5:50 AM – Arrive at Yala National Park entrance
- 6:00 AM – Enter the park & begin safari
- 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM – Extended wildlife safari inside Yala
- 12:00 PM – Exit the park
- 12:30 PM – Drop-off at your hotel or meet-up point
