Discover the wonders of Yala National Park during the cooler, late afternoon hours on our Afternoon Safari. Your adventure begins at 1:30 PM, when you will be picked up from your hotel in Yala or Tissamaharama, or from a meet-up point arranged for guests coming from other locations.
After arriving at the park entrance, enjoy an exciting safari inside Yala National Park from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, when many animals are still active before dusk. This is a great time to spot leopards, elephants, sloth bears, crocodiles, and a wide variety of birds. The late afternoon light creates beautiful photo opportunities.
After your safari, you will be dropped back around 6:30 PM. Contact us for meet-up points, island-wide transfers, or a takeaway afternoon snack.

Yala Safari is a wild-park drive. Leopard sightings are not guaranteed. Elephants, sloth bears, crocodiles, and birds are also part of a typical Block 1 or Block 5 day — never a checklist we can promise.
