Discover the wonders of Yala National Park during the cooler, late afternoon hours on our Afternoon Safari. Your adventure begins at 1:30 PM, when you will be picked up from your hotel in Yala or Tissamaharama, or from a meet-up point arranged for guests coming from other locations.
After arriving at the park entrance, enjoy an exciting safari inside Yala National Park from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, when many animals are still active before dusk. This is a great time to spot leopards, elephants, sloth bears, crocodiles, and a wide variety of birds. The late afternoon light creates beautiful photo opportunities, and your tracker will take you through areas with high chances of wildlife sightings.
After your safari, you will be dropped back around 6:30 PM at your hotel or meet-up point.
For guests joining from other locations, please contact us to receive the meet-up point, arrange pickup or drop-off anywhere in Sri Lanka, or order a safari takeaway snack.
