Tissamaharama (Tissa) sits on the Tissa–Kirinda road toward Palatupana. Hotels here and in Kirinda are inside our regular pickup area, unlike Ella or Galle. Meet at the hotel or at Aqua Hotel Yala if you prefer a single pin.

A 5:30 AM jeep start is realistic from Tissa without an all-night transfer. If you want morning and afternoon in one trip, this is the base that makes two gates possible. We still run the same private jeeps as from the coast — only the transfer changes.
