Galle to Yala is roughly 3.5–4.5 hours depending on traffic. Most guests from Galle choose a morning safari with a 2:00 AM pickup, or they sleep one night in Tissamaharama and safari at a sane hour. We can arrange either.
Unawatuna and Galle Fort pickups
We time the van for your hotel in Galle or Unawatuna, not a generic town pin. If you would rather not start at 2:00 AM, say so — an overnight near Tissa plus a 6:00 AM park entry is the kinder version of the same safari.
From-prices below are per person in a private jeep of 6. Park entrance, jeep, taxes, and water are in the quote. $30 deposit online; balance on arrival. Long-distance pickup is extra.

Is a same-day Galle–Yala–Galle trip realistic?
It is a 14-hour day. It works for a morning safari if you accept the early start. Overnight near Yala is kinder and raises leopard odds if you add a second drive.
Can you drop us in Mirissa after the safari?
Yes. Tell us the drop-off town when you book. Transfer prices change with the route, not the jeep.
